This summer, First Presbyterian Church of Grand Island invites your child to a Day Camp–themed Vacation Bible School—a week of fun, faith, and friendship where kids discover God’s love in our church's great backyard!

From June 28–July 1, kids will gather from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. each evening for a completely free experience filled with a meal,music, games, crafts, and meaningful moments around God’s story.

Your kids are invited to a safe, welcoming camp environment where faith grows, friendships form, and every child is reminded they belong. Come see what God has in store this summer!

Middle School & High School Mission Trip – Allenspark

One of the biggest highlights of the year for many of our students is our annual Mission in Motion Mission Trip — and this summer we’re headed to the mountains of Colorado!

From July 4–8, our middle school and high school youth will spend an unforgettable week serving, laughing, worshiping, growing in faith, and making memories together. We’ll be staying at Highlands Camp & Retreat Center while partnering with local non-profits and ministries to serve the surrounding community.

Mission trips are about more than just the work projects. They’re about friendships that grow stronger, faith that comes alive, late-night conversations, shared meals, mountain views, and discovering how God can use us to make a difference.

Whether it’s your first trip or your fifth, we’d love for you to come be part of the adventure!

Hastings Youth Conference 2026

This summer, several of our youth and leaders will be attending the Hastings Youth Conference at Hastings College from June 15–19. HYC is a week filled with worship, music, recreation, small groups, and opportunities for students to grow in faith alongside youth from across the region.

This year’s theme is “Wholly Shift!” — exploring the ways God transforms how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Registration for this year’s conference has now closed, but we invite you to learn more about the event and keep it in your prayers as our students prepare for an incredible week of faith, friendship, and fun.

Another amazing year of Y.O.W. is in the books — filled with laughter, friendships, faith, games, conversations, and unforgettable moments together. But don’t get too comfortable with summer break… fall will be here before you know it! 🍂

Registration is now open for Y.O.W. 2026–2027 (Youth on Wednesdays) at First Presbyterian Church of Grand Island!

Y.O.W. is a place where children and students can belong, grow in faith, build friendships, ask questions, and have a blast every Wednesday night. Whether your child has been coming for years or is thinking about joining for the first time, we’d love to welcome them this fall.
